The Outer
Hebrides is a group of islands situated off the northwest coast of
Scotland. The largest of these is Lewis, in the north, which has a
road link with Harris. Separated from Lewis and Harris by sea to
the south are the isles of North Uist, Benbecula, South Uist, Barra,
Eriskay and a number of smaller islands. This island chain is also
commonly known as the Western Isles |
